PROCEEDINGS of the ASI 2009

The presentations at the ASI 2009 (except the poster rapporteur presentations) will be published after a refereeing process in a special issue of the Bulletin of the Astronomical Society of India.

Deadline for submission of papers: 16th March, 2009

Submissions should be only in pdf format. The file should be named <Author>.pdf, and must use the style file from BASI (which is available on the BASI webpage). If more than one paper by the same first author is submitted, please use <Author1>.pdf, <Author2>.pdf etc.

e.g.: NShrivastava1.pdf, NShrivastava2.pdf etc.

The pdf file should be emailed to: asi09soc_remove_this_@iiap.res.in

Subject of the email should say: Proceedings <First Author Name><serial number> where the serial number applies if more than one paper is submitted by the same first author.

e.g.: Subject: Proceedings NShrivastava1
 
The page limits are as follows:
  • Invited Science talks: 6 pages
  • Poster papers: 2 pages
  • Thesis summaries: 4 pages (no abstract)
  • New Initiatives presentations: 2 pages
The page limits should be strictly adhered to.
