Pickup Details
The LOC has made pickup arrangements for particpants staying at the following places:
- Indian Academy of Sciences guest house, Jalahalli
- NIAS guest house (IISc Campus)
- CPWD/IIA guest house, Koramangala
- Nandhana Grand, Koramangala
Pickup from Bangalore airport
Particpants are requested to look for volunteers with IIA/IHY placards, beyond the baggage claim area or in the outside
pathway.
Pickup from Bangalore city railway station
Particpants are requested to look for volunteers with IIA/IHY placards, in the parking space to the left/right of the
main entrance to the railway station.
NOTE:
There is no pickup arrangement for participants staying at Jawahar guest house, because of its proximity to the
City/Cantonment/Yeshwantpur railway station and Bangalore main bus stand (Majestic). Kindly note that
Jawahar guest house is located inside the IISc Gymkhana (on the opposite side of the IISc Main campus).
Participants are requested to hire an auto-rickshaw and ask the driver to go to "Tata Institute"
(the name by which IISc is locally known). The main gate of IISc is at Prof CNR Rao Circle. After reaching this Circle,
do not enter through the main gate, but proceed towards Yeshwantpur. The gate of the Gymkhana will be on your left side, less
than half a kilometer from Prof CNR Rao Circle.
After entering through this gate, you will see a big playground by the side of the Gymkhana. Jawahar guest house
is just beyond this playground.

Participants staying at Academy, Jawahar and NIAS guest houses: Note that breakfast will be served at the canteen in
respective places at 07:00 hr, from November 27 - December 1, 2006. Also, dinner has been arranged on November 26, 2006 for
the above participants at their staying place.
