SUMMER PROGRAMMES - 2008

Project Student Programme

The Project Student Programme will be conducted during 13 May - 15 July 2008. The programme includes one week (15 - 22 May) introductory lectures at VBO, Kavalur, and a project to be completed under the supervision of scientists at IIA, Bangalore. Second class train/bus fare for shortest route, accommodation and per diem allowance will be provided to the selected candidates.

The school will focus on the Stellar astronomy with evening sessions on observational astronomy.
