GROWTH International Project
The GROWTH Project is a global network of telescopes for the study of transients. Led by Dr. Mansi Kasliwal of Caltech, USA, the partnership consists of universities and research institutions spread across nine countries.
GROWTH-India (PI: G.C. Anupama, Co-PI: Varun Bhalerao, IITB) has installed a 0.7m wide field robotic telescope at IAO, Hanle. The project was funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and administered by the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (1 Jan 2016 - 31 Dec 2020).
