Asian J. Physics has decided to bring out a special issue on Astrophysics in order to commemorate the centenary of the Einstein's year of miracles. This is a first venture of this kind for this journal and hope that it would serve as an interface between the astrophysicists and the physicists. A set of papers spanning the wide range of subjects such as cosmology, extra-galactic, stellar, solar astronomy etc., are appeared in this issue.
