Observation and Characterization of Extra-Solar Planets Using Indian Facilities

Research Interest

I primarily focus on developing atmospheric modeling codes (Python-based) for the exoplanets to predict the different observable quantities such as exoplanetary spectra, emission phase curves, and polarization phase curves. I also perform transit photometric observation of the transiting exoplanets using the observing facilities of IIA in order to search for new exoplanets and as well follow up on already detected planets for precise and accurate estimation of the planetary properties from the transit data using MCMC technique.
