Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria For Applying

Qualifying degree must be completed latest by July 2020. All applicants must fill the online application form. No hard copy applications will be entertained. .
Candidates must have:

M.Sc/Integrated M.Sc./ B.S.-M.S. (Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, Electronics, Photonics, Optics), M.E./M.Tech or Integrated M.E/M.Tech (Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Photonics, Optics, Opto-Electronics, Radio Physics & Electronics) degrees completed or expect to complete by July 2020 and have qualified in at least one of the National Eligibility Test i.e.

a) UGC – CSIR - NET (Physics, JRF / LS) [June or December 2019]
b) GATE (Physics) [2019/2020]
c) JEST (Physics) [2019].

Age Limit: Below 28 years as on 1st June, 2020.
Applications will be screened and only the short-listed candidates will be interviewed by end June, 2020.
Incomplete applications (without scanned copy of X, XII, UG, PG mark sheets, GATE / UGC-CSIR-NET (JRF) / JEST ) will be rejected.
When filling out the application form, please:

• Upload your latest CV.
• Give details of your marks or grade point average (GPA) in all the examinations written so far. In case of GPA, normalise to 100%; for example if your GPA is out of 10, multiply by 10.
• If you are currently studying in a degree programme, mention the expected month and year of its completion, and enter the marks received up to the latest semester with declared results.
Before starting to fill the application form, make sure that you have soft copies of your CV and other necessary documents. Upload a single merged PDF of the scans of the all mark sheets of the academic record.
