My broad research interests are in the field of Gravity, Black hole physics, Quantum effects in curved spacetime. Some of my current research topics can be broadly classified as:
(1) Black hole physics & quantum information: Gravitational memory effect, BMS super-translations and super-rotation symmetries, gravity shock-waves, relativistic quantum entanglement, spacetime curvature effects on quantum information, quantum gravitational memory, Soft hair theorems for black holes, BH information paradox.
(2) Black hole physics beyond general theory of relativity: Higher curvature theories of gravity, black hole theorems, quasi-normal modes, implication on signatures in gravitational waves.
(3) Analytic probes for investigating the Davies-Unruh effect: Quantum fluctuations in the Davies- Unruh bath, anisotropies in the power spectrum, analogue gravity models, experimental proposals for Unruh effect and analogue Hawking radiation.
(4) Emergent gravity paradigm & quantum gravity: Holographic nature of gravity, thermodynamics of horizons, implications for the Emergent Gravity paradigm, fluid/gravity correspondence, quantum gravity.- Supervisor
