| Abstract | The spectrum of the Sun’s corona will be summarized with emphasis on the key features at wavelengths from the infrared to X-rays. The different methods for observing the corona at these wavelengths will be compared and future observatories and mission concepts will be discussed. The CHIANTI database is a critical tool for modeling coronal emission lines and recent developments will be presented. The talk will also describe methods and software developed by the author to make the spectroscopic measurements from the Hinode/EIS experiment more accessible to the wider community. |
