Thesis Title

Multiwavelength study of Novae in M31

Research Interest

Novae, Type Ia Supernova progenitors, and other CVs.

In my first project, I worked on the recurrent nova M31N 2008-12a. The study is under review and can be found in arxiv (https://arxiv.org/abs/2310.06586).

Currently, I am analysing archival UVIT data of M31 and trying to look for novae in them. I am also involved in GIT/UVIT survey of M31 to hunt these erupting systems.

Other than novae, I have also been involved with GIT (https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/1538-3881/ac7bea) and the upcoming Daksha telescope (https://arxiv.org/abs/2211.12052).
My interests also extend to other transients, such as supernovae (https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.3847/2041-8213/acef20).
