Consistently good academic career with First class M.Tech in Astronomical Instrumentation or Applied Optics from a reputed University/institution. Minimum of two (or more) years of research experience in any of the leading national laboratories in India is essential. Candidate should be experienced in working in ultra-clean laboratories, test and calibration of optical components and integration of space payloads. Good experience in designing optical systems usingoptical design software packages such as ASAP, ZEMAX etc. is necessary.

ENGINEER-C (COMPUTER)

B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc or equivalent in a field of Electronics/ Electrical/ Electronics and Communication/ Telecommunication/ Computer Science with a recommended minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution. ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Positions - One (UR)

A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce supported by a Master’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university. Candidate should have considerable experience in a senior position with atleast 15 years of overall experience and knowledge on issues like balance sheet, budget, audit, banking matters or import/export, variety of tender procedure, foreign exchange, Reserve Bank matters, letter of credit etc. Working experience of computer based administrative software is needed.

SECTION OFFICER

TWO (OBC-1 & UR-1)

A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidate should have the capability of maintaining the section discipline and control with atleast 10 years experience in handling Establishment, Recruitment, Assessment, General matters of all support service. Working experience of computer based administrative software is needed. Degree in Law / Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations is preferred with proven experience in Administration.

Project Clerk

Positions - 3

Bachelor’s degree in Science / Arts / Commerce / Business Management from a recognized University.
Experience:
Minimum one year experience in handling Accounts / Finance / Stores & Purchase / Establishment matters. Knowledge of operating computer basics such as word / excel / internet / tally latest version etc. is essential. Candidates with Diploma in Secretarial Practice from the recognized Institute will be preferred.

DIRECTOR

Positions - 1

a) Essential: Doctorate in Astronomy / Astrophysics / Physics / Mathematics or in Physical Sciences.
b) Desirable: i) Post-doctoral research, ii) Original published work of high standard, iii) Evidence of high professional eminence by way of recognitions like fellowship of academies, national / international awards in science etc.
Essential Experience for Direct Recruitment
  a) Atleast 20 years of experience in R & D in industrial and academic institutions and / or Science & Technology organizations or as faculty/scientist of recognized national/ international universities/research institutes/corporate R&D labs etc., out of which at least 04 years should be in managerial/administrative capacity for science & technology programmes, planning and development, budget & finance, coordination and such organizational matters.
  b)R&D experience in the areas of Astronomy and Astrophysics and related topics.
