The computer facilities at IIA has always been individual based, where most of the academic members of the Institute use their own workstations for complete computing needs. In the recent times, there has been a rising demand for larger memory, higher processing and storage that are beyond the limits of conventional workstations. IIA data center was conceived in the late 2000s to cater to these computing requirements. Today the data center hosts several computing servers and storage facility alongside networking infrastructure and public servers. High performance computing cluster (HPC) at IIA consisted of a 26 node cluster based on intel xeon processors.
The Institute Computer Center is intended for use by visitors and short term students. It has been gradually turning into a place of historic value. There is a set of Linux and Windows workstations, along with accessories such as printers and scanners. Most users of the computer center bring their own devices.
The IIA Computer Committee oversee the facility and systems related matters ranging from the computing and hardware/software requirements to network & security requirements across all the campuses of IIA.
The ERP Committee takes care of the management of Institute's ERP system.
The Website Committee oversees the management of websites and other online portals.
