Some guiding principles of our work are

  1. Emphasis on sustainable programs that can incorporate individual events,
  2. Programs that are scalable in size, number of people, and level of content,
  3. Ensure projects that are tailored to different target audiences,
  4. Creation of multilingual resource material and public domain astronomy, especially in the states which host IIA field stations,
  5. Programs for communities that have less access to astronomy and science,
  6. Special attention to creating hands-on and low-cost material,
  7. Collaborate with local, national, and international astronomy outreach organizations,
  8. Ensure that our programs highlight the scientific method along with the science itself.
