A total lunar eclipse will occur on the night of 7-8 September 2025 and can be seen from all over India.
On September 7, at 9:57 pm, the Moon will begin to disappear due to the Earth's umbral shadow. From 11:01 pm to 00:23 am, it will appear as a total eclipse. At 1:27 am, the Moon will leave the Earth's umbral shadow. When the Moon reaches a total eclipse, it will not disappear in the sky, but will appear very beautiful in a deep red color.
It is completely safe to view a lunar eclipse with our eyes. There is no harm in watching this. We ask everyone to go out of their homes and enjoy the eclipse with family and friends!
