The Gauribidanur Radio Observatory, run jointly with the Raman Research Institute, Bengaluru is one of India's oldest radio observatory, dating back its observations to the 1950s, and has been continuously observing the Sun in radio waves ever since.

Please Note:
- Submit this form at least 15 days before your preferred date of visit.
- You are requested to choose only a Tuesday for your visit. Government holidays will also be a holiday for the observatory.
- You are requested to follow all procedures and disciplines of the institute.
- You will be guided by a coordinator and are to not visit any others areas than the ones demarcated for the visit by the coordinator.
- IIA will not be responsible for your personal belongings while you are present at the campus for the visit.
- We recommend you bring caps and/or umbrellas to protect yourself from the sunlight.
