Research Interest (s) : Our group at IIA is working on low cost space payloads for Ultra Violet Astronomy. Currently we are developing UV Spectrographs for mapping the sky in the wavelengths ranging from 90 to 280 nm at a resolution of around 0.2 nm. We have also developed a versatile low cost star sensor that can be easily customised for a wide range of requirements and applications.
