Research Interest (s) : My main research areas are: solar variability on earth-radiation budget and solar-terrestrial atmosphere, astroclimatological parameters on astronomical site testing, aerosol optical and radiative properties using SKYNET (Sky Radiometer Network), satellite, AERONET (AErosol RObotic NETwork) and reanalysis data. I was initially involved in local and remote operation of 2m-HCT. Presently, I am actively involving on regular maintenance and data reduction of Sky Radiometer (POM-01, Prede) which was installed at IAO-Hanle during October 2007 as a part of National Large Solar Telescope (NLST) project of IIA. Sky radiometer observational data from Hanle and Merak sites have linked with SKYNET (http://atmos3.cr.chiba-u.jp/skynet/data.html). In addition, I am also involving on various instruments which are operating at IAO-Hanle to study various astroclimatological parameters with relevant to NLST and National Large Optical Telescope projects of IIA.
