Stars, ISM and Galaxies

Overview

Research in the area of stars, stellar systems and galaxies covers a broad range of topics. Some of the main areas are star formation, stellar physics and the study of the interstellar medium; Extra-galactic astronomy, including study of neighborhood galaxies such as the Magellanic clouds and those in the local group; Quasars and active galaxies; and time domain astronomy.
